A day in Annonay, capital of hot-air ballooning
The birthplace of hot-air ballooning, Annonay is the perfect place to soar and admire the rolling Ardèche and Drôme landscapes from the sky.
At the beginning of July, the balloon festival is the perfect opportunity to book your first flight! And don’t miss the fascinating Musée du Parchemin, housed in one of the last three parchment mills in France.

Peaugres safari: a must-see park in the Ardèche
Less than a quarter of an hour from the campsite, discover the largest animal park in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region: the Safari de Peaugres, in Ardèche! This vast 80-hectare area, entirely dedicated to the protection of rare, endangered and protected species, invites you to an unforgettable adventure. From Madagascar to the poles, explore the riches of four continents and meet fascinating animals, both exotic and familiar, such as those you can pet on the farm.
